Well made and Rovervans were efficient with installation. A++

Although, the actual installation took several more hours than expected, it was essentially straightforward. If I ever had the need to install another unit, it would take far less time. A few observations: 1. The written instructions do not say anything about how tight to reinstall the hinge bolts after removing them to install the new hinge bracket. I believe that I saw in the online video, that the bolts should not be tightened until near the end of the installation. I left mine a bit loose expecting to need to adjust the brackets before fully torquing. It turns out that my door shifted after the second hinge bracket was installed and I have had difficulty getting the door back into proper alignment. I would recommend tightening the bracket bolts to proper torque as they are reattached. 2. I took too much time trying to determine from the photo in the installation manual a precise alignment for the door brace template shown in Step 4. It turns out that it really doesn’t matter since you will match-drill the bolt hole through both door skin and door brace in Step 9 and there is enormous edge distance on the brace. 3. During insertion of the door brace as shown on Step 6 I had a bit of difficulty finding a way to get the brace positioned inside the door panel and ended up with a minor, but visible crease on the outside skin caused as I rotated the brace into proper alignment - that skin is thin! 4. Finally, my kit came with an older version of the door limiter strap which caused a bit of confusion about whether my kit was incomplete and/or how it was intended to be installed. A quick email to the folks at Rover solved that. Overall it is a very well made and engineered product and is a very valuable addition to my RV.

Easy to install, great product

After searching the internet, we ordered the Rover Vans Tire carrier and ladder combo for Ram Promaster- Drill through version, I asked a lot of questions before purchase and William was super helpful and quick to respond. It was shipped to us in Canada and arrived in about 5 days. A friend and I did the installation by following the comprehensive instructions and it went smoothly, it did take us a bit longer to install than we expected, but we are both in our 70’s!
My wife and I love this product, it’s solid, great quality and looks great !
